Teaching quality assurance
Anyone can claim qualified teachers. This page sets out exactly what we check before a teacher is assigned, what we keep checking afterwards, and what you can hold us to.

How we choose teachers
- Identity verified against official photo identification
- Ijazah or qualification confirmed with the issuing teacher or institution
- References taken from a previous institution or teacher
- A recorded teaching sample assessed for pronunciation, clarity and patience
- A written safeguarding and conduct agreement signed before the first class
How we check that teaching stays good
- A review of each new teacher’s first weeks of classes
- Monthly progress reports checked by the academy, not only sent to parents
- Attendance and punctuality tracked for teachers as well as students
- Parent feedback invited after the first month and acted on
- A teacher can be reassigned or removed at any point on the basis of that evidence
What every lesson must include
- The student reading aloud for the majority of the lesson
- Correction at the point of the mistake, with the reason explained
- A clear target for the next class, written down
- A note to the parent describing what was covered
- No class ended early without the time being made up
What we promise parents
- You may change teacher at any time, for any reason, without explanation
- You may join any class without notice
- If we cannot teach your child well, we will tell you rather than keep taking the fee
- Complaints go to the academy administrator, not to the teacher concerned
If a class falls below this standard, tell us. We would rather lose a teacher than a family.
